Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you for visiting our site! Below, you'll find a list of some commonly asked questions. The list is not exhaustive, though. If there's something you're wondering, please don't hesitate to reach out to us: hello@maidenwoodevents.com.

We believe in open communication regarding costs, but because some event needs vary significantly, our event pricing can be customized to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients and their events. We have found there is no "standard" venue rental where it seems every venue includes different items so it's really hard for you to compare apples to apples.
We also believe in providing choice for our clients with almost all of our vendor categories open to your choice. Being able to choose your vendor can allow for your budget to go further at our venue. We find that some venues will advertise a lower price and then have added fees and/or will have an exclusive catering contract so they charge you less for the venue because they make it up on the catering and that will add thousands to your wedding budget.
We try to include all the essentials you will need to have a wedding (see everything that comes included in our FAQ) in every wedding package which sometimes causes it to look more expensive than other venues, but when you add on all their extras, we were actually less.
At Maidenwood, your dream wedding awaits with pricing designed to fit a range of visions and budgets. Our venue offers 2025, 2026, & 2027 full wedding packages from $4995 to $9995, with costs varying based on factors such as the day of the week, time of year, guest count, and specific amenities or services you choose to include. We invite you to connect with us for a personalized quote and to explore how we can bring your perfect day to life.
We promise we won't spam you with unwanted emails and we can email you our full digital pricing brochure for your review right away after you fill out our contact form.
For your consideration: Saturdays in September and October are our most requested dates so we will only allow for full wedding packages on those dates.
Having your event on a Sunday or Thursday is a great way to save thousands.
Yes, we have a preferred list of amazing caterers and food trucks that have been to Maidenwood, but also allow you to bring your own licensed and insured catering too. We feel some venues with "exclusive catering" offer lower prices to get you to book and then they end up charging your extra on catering to make up for it.
Maidenwood has a full liquor license so we can provide you and your guests Beer, Wine, and Mixed Drinks for you event. We will provide bar staff and all supplies needed.
We have no minimum purchase requirements and reasonable pricing so we really feel this is the best combination with you not needing to hire an expensive outside beverage company and/or having to bring a vehicle full of drinks to and from the venue.
Current WI state law (Act 73) passed starting on 1/1/2026 BYOB will not be allowed at any Wisconsin wedding venues without special permitting and if your venue allows it, they could potentially be shut down for your event.
Maidenwood does not charge vendors to be on our Recommended Vendors List. We do not accept payment, commission, or referral fees in exchange for recommendations. Vendors are included purely based on fit, trust, and performance. We firmly believe “Pay for Play” is not beneficial to our couples.
Our Recommended Vendors List is not any old directory, it is a trusted network built over time through consistent service, respectful collaboration, and positive couple feedback. We keep this process friendly and straightforward, but we also hold a high standard because our couples deserve it.

No. Although we have multiple ceremony sites, we schedule one wedding per day so you have access to all 40 acres of our nature reserve.
We have two main options: You can choose to get married in the White Barn event space or for guest counts under 125, we can setup a ceremony site in our glass enclosed pavilion.
As a matter of fact, we do. Maidenwood owner, Steve Macke, has been DJing weddings in MN, WI, and Iowa for 15 plus years creating raving fans. We have speakers and lighting built-into our event center that can help make that part of your day seamless.
